Overview

Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow was founded durring the early 10th century, by Khrondri. The establishment of Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow's construction back out of the project. Khrondri pushed on reguardles, and Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow is buildings are built arround a single spacious flagstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Right off the bat Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

In Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow there is no wind.

The Mole near Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Fök Wi̽qüe Hadfow's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
